Role Description
We are looking for a high-performing Account Manager to drive revenue growth, manage client relationships, and maximize account expansion. This role is focused on customer retention, upselling, and strategic account management, ensuring that clients derive maximum value from our solutions.
As an Account Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of existing clients, maintaining strong relationships and identifying new opportunities for revenue growth. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate their needs while aligning our solutions to their business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders within client organizations.
- Identify and execute opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within assigned accounts.
- Proactively analyze customer usage data to anticipate needs and recommend solutions that drive adoption and growth.
- Maintain a renewal rate above industry standards, minimizing churn and maximizing account value.
- Accurately forecast renewals, expansions, and potential risks, ensuring a stable revenue pipeline.
- Work closely with internal teams, including Sales, Product, and Customer Success, to align on account strategies and deliver the best outcomes for clients.
- Ensure all account activities and client interactions are properly tracked in CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop targeted engagement strategies for key accounts.
- Address client concerns, resolve issues proactively, and provide ongoing support to enhance their experience.
What We’re Looking for
- 2+ years of experience in B2B account management, preferably in SaaS or tech-enabled solutions.
- Proven track record of retaining and growing accounts, with a strong understanding of sales cycles and customer success strategies.
- Experience managing a large portfolio of clients, balancing multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Ability to analyze customer data and trends to drive account expansion strategies.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working in US shifts to align with client time zones.
